Tolstoy has a good point. Only those who do good deeds and don't do anything bad live. I heard from many people live while you are young. But if my youth's past were to follow me I would rather have a past where I helped others and did good stuff than a past where I pretty much ruined myself by doing the wrong things I believed would be to feel alive. And even when someone passes away and you know they were a good person, they still live on in our minds and hearts and we have a good memory of them. But if a bad person were to die and all they did was harm people, as bad as this sounds, some will feel a relief that no one will make them feel bad or cause them harm anymore. And it doesn't even need to be death, it can easily be someone moving away. My point is that those who do good when it is not popular live on forever. Those people are the ones who lived because they have no regrets that they never helped someone for example.

Optometrist

Duties and Responsibilities: These are doctors that specialize in anything of the eye. They usually run tests on the patients to see if there vision is okay. They can prescribe medication and eye glasses, perform surgery if necessary and provide care to those who undergo surgery. Depending on what area you want to work in the jobs vary. Some optometrist do a lot of research and try to find ways to improve the patients eyesight.

Salary: $106,140 per year

Education: Doctoral or Professional Degree

                

Reflection: Yes I would actually like to be an optometrist because I have always been amazed in how the eye is so small with such a large function. I would like to help those who have bad eyesight get either better eyesight or improve it because not being able to see to me is probably the saddest thing ever.

I agree with this genius. It true feeding the homeless, adopting kids and animals sad from serious and dangerous events isn't popular. I know this because many many animals are put to sleep in shelters because there is too many and people don't adopt them or save them. Is not as popular as you would think. Feeding the homeless as well is not that popular, yes many people go but more than that would rather stay at home or do their own not helping them and their hunger. I noticed that feeding the homeless is most popular when the holidays come around but every other day a few people go which I find really sad. Smoking is so popular. Everywhere you go there is someone smoking and in this generation kids as young as 12 smoke. Most think its okay because their parents do it and so do their friends, so they try to fit in. But this is  not right. Smoking causes so many deaths because of secondhand smoke. Innocent people die from this because the smoker thinks it won't affect others but that is a straight out lie. smoking is more popular than helping the homeless because everyone does it and those who don't are exposed to it a lot that some become smokers, but others just inhale it as they walk by and this affects their bodies and sometimes causes death.

Harry styles is known for being part of a boy band one direction, but in 2017 he released his own album and acted out in the movie Dunkirk.His album is made up of 10 songs. His album genre is a balladry/soft rock music. He was born in February 1, 1994. He was born in Redditch, Worcestershire and moved to Holmes Chapel, Cheshire with his sister Gemma. At age 7 his parents divorced, but his mom later married Robin Twist. He has an older sister named Gemma and a step brother and sister whose names are Mike and Amy. When he was 16 he worked at a bakery in Holmes Chapel and in that same year he audition in the X factor where one direction was born. The group says they are on a hiatus since 2016 but I personally think its over because all the members have their own singing debut. He released two songs before he released the whole album last year. He has been on tour already and this summer he is going on tour again. He has come out in many T.V shows like  The tonight show with Jimmy Fallon and The Late Late show with James Corden.

I personally like this quote because it is so true. If you work hard for something you really want you will eventually get it. We all have a choice to change either who we are or where we live it doesn't really matter and if you really want to change something you will work hard for it. Probably harder than anyone else working for the same thing. I can relate to this quote because I was being very judged in a certain place and people wanted to harm my family. I had the choice to change all my perspective and my families. We did the right thing but people hated us for no reason so I changed my family's mind that instead of letting it get to us to act like nothing is wrong and not let it get in our heads. And it worked hard to mature in that are and yes those people still don't like us but as long as we don't let them get to us we are fine and that's what matters. We worked hard to keep going and it was hard but we did it and we were able to change how w felt which was a great feeling.

       

H3N2

THE FLU

The H3N2 virus has become severe in all the United States all but Hawaii. This new influenza has killed only 30 children in the week of January 13. In that same week only 31.5 out of every 100,000 people were taken to the hospital due to this same flu. This virus is common on mammals, birds and humans but now that it is in humans, this virus has mutated to many strains. The flu shot is stated to be only 30% effective in the U.S, but in Australia it was only 10% effective. This virus has not only caused and epidemic in the U.S but also in the UK and Australia. The worst flu season was the year of 2015 but now with just the first month of 2018 it is expected to surpass this and become the worst flu year. People that are 62 and over must watch out because with a virus this strong developing in your body, it can cause someone to get pneumonia and not only will the have to fight this off but also the virus. Children under 2 are also being affected, the best advice that doctors have is to keep your child cozy and avoid being exposed to it. H3N2 is also classified as a influenza A virus which is very strong and seems to be mutating to something stronger.

I agree with Dr. Nelson because no matter how much a person wants to argue that oh doing so and so is okay, in reality it's not and they know it. It is like a person who smokes, they said it's not that bad and it helps me. This person is lying to themselves, and they know what they are doing is wrong because it not only affects them but others around them. When a person offends someone and hurts their feelings is another example. Lets say I'm mad at my friend and I tell her these things that hurt her feelings. I know that what I was about to do was wrong but I did it anyway. And not only did I make her feel bad, but I lied t myself oh it'll be fine she'll get over it, but that's not the case. I have learned that when something scars you you can't forget it no matter how much you try.It is never ever okay to do something wrong and have that mindset of oh it's fine or I didn't do anything wrong because when you start lying to yourself you start lying to others and that is where a whole other problem begins.

           

Music Composer

Duties and Responsibilities: Music Composers are in charge of selecting different arrangements to create a song that can be any genre. They usually work with lyricist to create their own songs but some artists are able to write their own lyrics. Since they have to compose music most artists compose song with deep meaning and many write songs of the past experiences. It is a way they are able to let everything out. Some composers write scores for movies, they make an arrangement of popular songs that will best fit the scene and compose a full soundtrack for it.

Salary: $50,110 per year

Education: A Bachelor's degree

                     

Reflection: Well since I chose to do this occupation, yes I'm interested in composing music. I would want to be able to write my own songs and express myself through there. To me ever since I was little I was always able to express myself through writing and drawing and they are both considered art. I feel that if I'm able to write a song, it will help others who might be going through something feel better or not alone.
