Physical Therapist

Duties and Responsibilities: A physical therapist, also known as Pt's are people who help a person who has been injured in physical activities. You can usually find them in rehabilitation centers giving the patient treatment to heal whatever they have hurt. They can also help people who naturally already have an illness in movement and they are there to improve the patient's progress. One treatment is that they use exercises, especially stretches to help the person's movement in whatever joint/body part move more efficiently. 

Salary: $85,400 per year

Education: need to be licensed and have a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree

                        

Reflection: I honestly would be very interested to pursue this career because I would like to know more about the body's movement and I would like to help those who have undergone surgery or had a traumatic experience. I would want to be able to help these people either learn how to walk again or simply help the joints/body feel better.
