Pharmacist

Duties and Responsibilities:  Pharmacists are people who prescribe patients with medication and explain to them how it works, how much they should take and information about the side effects. Work with insurance companies, check if the medication will harm the patient and the keep records. In some states some pharmacists give flu shots or vaccines. When they have interns working with them the oversee and teach them what to do and how to do their task.

Salary: $122,230 per year

Education: A 4 year profession degree which can be a doctor of pharmacy (Pharm. D) and have a license which requires them to pass two exams

               

Reflection: No I would not like to be a pharmacist. I know this job is crucial, but to me it doesn't seem as interesting. I know that I would get bored of doing this job and I honestly want to have a job I will love and not get bored of. So I would not want to pursue this career.
