" I wasn't trying to leave a legacy. I was trying to do what was right."
~Dean Smith
I agree with Dean because sometimes we become known for doing the right thing. I had a friend who she was well known in the school but not because she tried to fit in, but she was so sweet and kind. She never talked bad about anyone and she always would try to make someone's day with just smiling. Many people knew her and wanted to hang out with her but one day she told that she didn't care who knew her she just cared about being nice to everyone, even those who had hurt her. Many famous people who are legacies, become a spoiled person and even if you are not a legacy. people get cocky and make others feel dumb and that's the other way legacies go. Instead of becoming a legacy by doing the right thing, they become a legacy by being cocky and pushing everyone out of their way. Dean Smith became a legacy because the good Karma followed him, it wanted to repay him for all the good things he had done throughout his career.
