Sophocles
"I would prefer even to fail with honor than win by cheating."
I agree with this philosopher because when you win by cheating you have no honor to even try and be fair. When you get discovered that you cheated instead of feeling proud you feel shame and regret for what you have done. Sometimes failing is good it teaches you to be better and improve, it is not always bad. People just have a negative mind and they see failure is something to be ashamed of. In life, you can't always win and when you fail but you tried your hardest and you did everything on a fair playing ground you never lose your honor. Many think it is all about winning but it is important to see that failing is another way of saying what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
